Power in Numbers Benefit Show

These are my entires for the P.I.N. show at Nucleus Gallery, opening May 18th - 28th (I'll post up a flyer with more info soon). All entries for the show are 5x7" and will be sold from $50-100, proceeds will be going to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. I wanted to do a set of drawings or paintings that go together, and had the idea of royal face cards as these silly characters. The paper is tea-stained to give it an aged look, and I kept it limited colors of red, yellow and black as you would normally see on cards. I kinda want to play poker while watching Alice in Wonderland now....

Love these. Great compositions and use of limited color, Nic.
Ace o' spades is my favorite, very funny!
The King admiring his crown is extremely clever, nice subtle reflection in his mirror.

Jay, thanks very much for the link!
Olga, likewise to you. I've visted your blog before and Rich speaks of you often, so hopefully we can meet up one day. The mural is looking amazing. :)
I've been so distracted from the blog by personal goingons (is that a word) and projects, it's time for an update....very sooooooon. :)
